We should not pay ill informed, self-serving legislators (the sponsors of this site included). I have lived all my life, and have never seen as big a waste as is our Utah Legislature.

    I hope I don't come off as rude and I certainly hope not to offend, but do you know any legislators personally? I am not one, but know a couple, and they work tirelessly and are very conscious of what their constituents think. To be brazen enough to say that they are self-serving is very hurtful.

    It takes a lot of courage to run knowing you will probably be slandered for merely doing so, though most intend to run for office to help and serve. Have you taken your turn in public office yet?
